APPLE LOUNGE

Before its current incarnation as a full-service restaurant, Apple Lounge has been a frequent place to party and dance for locals who have called it Pearl, Moomba and Luna Park. Renovations in the past few years have transformed Apple Lounge into a seedy Hollywood lounge shimmering in endless star sightings and reflected light of its apple-shaped disco ball.

The music varies from hip-hop to ‘60s rock mixes, and the dance floor is spun by celeb DJs like Jon and Sam Ronson. Many nightclub lovers and partygoers have labeled Apple Lounge as cool and hip-happening. Apart from its smaller dance room downstairs, Apple Lounge has plenty of bar area with voluminous space. Though the DJ spins nice music, it isn’t great in terms of transitioning. Apple Lounge may be too heavy on your pocket. Visiting Apple Lounge may be expensive and, in fact, you may even be turned away if you sport non-matching dress code.

Apple Lounge offers ultra-exclusive basement lounge where socialites, models and actors get to meet new faces, join them and dance with them. The murals in the paparazzi bathroom, with real blinky lights in camera flashes are a wonderful reminder of what waits outside for celebutants. Then you also have a DJ booth built into a corner, while another disco ball distinguishes bathrooms from the lounge area.

Apple Lounge is open to the public three days a week – Saturdays, Fridays and Tuesdays. It comprises of four areas, viz, decent sized patio, the back room bar, the large front main area and the exclusive VIP lounge. Apple Lounge is one of the few areas offering plenty of space for relaxation. Its comfortable setting offers sophisticated and plush furniture with wonderful city skyline view, right outside the club’s large windows, offering a homely and intimate feel, which is missing in other New York clubs.

Apple Lounge has huge list of cocktails enhancing its luxury. Some of the cocktails that you would get to taste include Jaded Lady, Tiger Lily, Razberri Coolers and Apple Martinis. Guest List includes Perez Hilton, Karina Smirnoff, Taye Diggs, Tila Tequila, Christina Milian, Samantha Ronson, Lindsay Lohan, Laura Preppon and Nicky Hilton.

If you visit Apple Lounge on Saturdays and Fridays, you may notice the entire place buzzing with partygoers and A-list celebrities. Majority of the guests get dressed up for the opening. Lindsay Lohan got dressed in casual in green top and denim shorts. Apple Lounge hopes to bring New York to Los Angeles.

Apple Lounge also serves with freshly squeezed fruit juices and mint. To feed partygoers, apple restaurant has come up with great late night cuisine and award winning chefs all night long.
