650 NORTH

650 North is a premiere Restaurant & Lounge, Event and Filming venue centrally located in the West Hollywood community of Los Angeles on La Cienega Boulevard. The property features six adjoining Dining and Lounge rooms, two large high ceiling areas, and an overall capacity for events at 1200 guests. Five separate entrances to the property allow for multi-use capabilities as varying events and parties can occur simultaneously.

The La Cienega Lounge, with entrance from La Cienega Blvd., allows guests a combination of eclectic furnishings to enjoy along with a lighted wrought iron bar front, cozy booth beds and available seating for dinner parties as well as cocktail receptions. On the right occasion, the La Cienega Lounge can be combined with the Melrose Lounge to allow for large group events and multi-use room and level functions. Twin flat screen HDTV units flank the bar front in two separate Lounge seating areas.

The Great Hall dining area provides guests with designer reproductions of classic French, English and American furniture styles, along with comfortable leather armchairs and sofa units. The Great Hall houses the guest bottle service selections within the 20 ft. Wine Wall, and two LED lighting alcoves lend changes in color to compliment the various floral and forest elements.

Restaurant and event patrons can enjoy cocktails in the lounge area of the Great Hall, located on the first floor adjacent to the dining area. Relax in comfort on one of our Lounge Vignettes, or have an animated discussion with friends along our expansive 22 foot bar top area. Sports fans can view games on our Lounge high-definition flat screen monitor adjacent to the bar, and the Lounge seating can be reconfigured to allow for large group dinner seating in conjunction with the Great Hall dining area proper.

Enjoy open air seating in our Patio Lounge, located adjacent to the Great Hall. Guests can relax and enjoy specialty cocktails at the Patio Bar and quality cuisine in an intimate locale. Set apart from the Great Hall or Atrium areas, this area is perfect for daytime events with the large skylight and the unique waterfall feature. The room has seating capacity for groups of up to thirty, and cocktail reception capacity of up to sixty. The patio can also be used in conjuction with any of the other adjacent areas.

The Melrose Lounge is located above the Melrose Place Cafe on the world famous designer shopping destination street Melrose Place. A separate entrance to the second floor Lounge is hidden away adjacent to the Cafe. Looking for an intimate multi-room spot for a group of twenty to seventy five guests? Look no further. The Bar area features a flat screen HDTV for sports or client event branding/programming, while bottle service is offered during our Lounge evening events. Bottle service storage is available with guest registration. The Melrose Lounge will also be open for daytime lunch and group seating, with full bar selections and a relaxing meal by our fire pit areas, in March of 2010.

The property at 650 North also has an adjacent outdoor/canopy area for use for large entertainment and group functions. Award Show parties, post-screening parties, wedding receptions, fashion shows — whatever your event, this 5000 square foot area can be conceptualized and crafted to your client and product desires. The Atrium may be used in conjunction with any or all of the 650 North interior property areas as well. The optional canopy area tops out at a 22 foot ceiling. The Atrium can accommodate two hundred guests in a formal setting, three hundred and twenty maximum for a visual screening, and four hundred and eighty guests for a standing cocktail reception.

650 North Chef Isaias Castillo prepares contemporary Cafe Bistro cuisine along with hip and tasteful Lounge style menu selections, such as made to order European Paninis; salad favorites such as Roquefort Pear, Mango Salmon and Mediterranean Goat Cheese; pasta specials daily and classic Lounge menu items for evening fare. Prospective event clients are welcome to visit us and sample the various styles of cuisine that are available.
