Celebrate the New Year in style at the newly reopened Hyde Lounge on Sunset Boulevard, which has been called “The Most Exclusive Club in America.”


This intimate venue is the perfect place for you and a small group of friends to dance, sip signature libations and dine on shared plates from sbe Executive Chef Danny Elmaleh. Hyde Lounge is located on the upscale Los Angeles district on its two floors. Situated to the right near the King West area, the club attracts mature crowd above 21 years of age, with DJs spinning all types of music, right from hip-hop, old school to R&B and house. Besides, Hyde Lounge also has a dance floor, coat check, bottle service, outdoor smoking area and patio for warm months and guest list/reservations. As the club entrance gets hidden between Wellington and King Streets, it is always better to look carefully before entering.


On the small stretch of King West, you find extremely opposite worlds of nightlife, between upscale lounges, profound restaurants and loft residents. Hyde Lounge has a single room bathed in LED lighting lined with industry insiders atop faux-croc ottomans and banquettes. Bottle service plays a major role in luring the elite of Hyde Lounge into the cozy corners of the venue, permitting them to relax and sit back, and enjoy the profound amenities of Hyde Lounge.


Though Hyde Lounge is small, it is here that paparazzi and young celebs in L.A. hang out. It is a very tiny place, holding just 100 people, with no cameras being permitted inside. Hence, celebs pictures are taken only from the club’s outside as they are prepared to enter and then head inside. However, it is not easy to get into Hyde Lounge. So welcome to Tru Hollywood, your new labyrinth of debauchery, now open for private events. And also welcome to its secret basement lounge, 1 Below.


1950′s Hollywood Supper Club and Night Club, a multi-level beautiful venue with a gorgeous open air patio that overlooks the main room. Expect a stunning 1950′s decor with hardwood flooring, European sparkling diamond walls and lavish furnishings. Main floor has two bars with Crystal waterfalls, and burlesque dancing. Basement is a cozy lounge area with dining and warm furnishings. This is a truly unique venue that has inspired a lot of Hollywood Buzz.


The massive night club is actually two venues in one—Tru Hollywood Supperclub occupies the top floors and the ultra-exclusive underground lounge, One Below, is located on the lowest floor. Little appetizers will be offered at the supper club, such as fresh crab cakes and BBQ pork sliders, but the highlight is not the food, but the retro atmosphere. Decorated with sparkling silver tiles, mirrored tables, hardwood flooring, lavish furnishings, spiral staircases, and frosted glass booths where scantily clad go-go dancers entice a crowd dancing beneath crystal waterfalls, Tru Hollywood is a nod to old Hollywood glamour that has been generating quite a buzz.


You enter on Argyle across from the W, the heavy bass of Drai’s somewhere overhead. Through a curtain of crystals in the foyer, you catch glimpses of the cavernous black, gray and red main room beyond, with mirrored tables, two bars and a go-go girl behind glass. (Don’t worry: she’s got oxygen.) It’ll probably be packed, and most people will be dancing.


You’ll head off to one of the two staircases (one in the foyer, and another behind the DJ booth). Both lead down to a covert sprawl of tufted couches, red curtains and overstuffed bookshelves.

Located in the former home of Mood, this is the place to go when you and your most photogenic friends want the Hollywood scene to feel… more like a fashion shoot at a photog’s 1960s studio.


If the concept sounds a bit like Syndicate Hospitality’s MyHouse Hollywood, that’s because it’s from the same people. In fact, think of this as the sequel.
